It all began in the early 80’s when we opened our doors in the heart of Cape Town. Back then, we were known as Freeline Screenprint (trading as Freeline Design). Initally printing matchboxes from home, we were soon to extend our offering, becoming a household name as many businesses, schools and entrepreneurs became trusted and loyal clients. In 1995, the year South Africa won their first ever Rugby World Cup, Leon ‘Spunge’ Oosthuizen purchased the company in Ndabeni, where it still has its premises. Our mission back then, as it is today, was to provide excellent service and quality printing – always putting our customers interests and needs first. We continued to grow from strength-to-strength, building our client base and broadening our scope to include textile screenprinting, digital print & transfer, vinyl cut & transfer, sublimation printing, sportswear manufacture and embroidery.
Through the years we have been extremely fortunate to have built up an incredible team at Freeline. Our employees are without a doubt our most important asset, offering a wealth of talent, knowledge, experience and skills crucial to our success. They’re a group of inspired individuals who have made Freeline the slick and professional business operation that it is today – faithful and loyal each and every one and we are sincerely indebted to them for their many, many years of outstanding service to us.
